DAY 782: Small World

Today I met up with a woman who has been living a bit vicariously through following my adventures. We’ve connected online, but today was the first time we met in person. Quicker than you can say bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, we’d bonded as sisters. Her strong earth energy was so calming for me, even when my feet were barefoot on the grass. I know I’ve mentioned this before: I have no earth at all in my astrological birth chart. What I do have is a grand trine in water, so being by the river today added soothing. She gifted me a crystal she dug herself, and a smudge stick of rosemary, which she said was from “my people,” as an alternative to appropriating sage from a culture other than our own. And a hag stone! Turns out we have mutual friends, the same dentist, and the promise to meet again. Oh, and you’ll notice the Womanrunes I pulled this morning drawn on my wrist: The Sisters.

Speaking of dentist, that was my next stop. The woman who cleaned my teeth had the same last name as mine, although she pronounced it differently. We tried, but could find no branches on the same family tree.

It’s been a week since psychic medium Josh Simonds gave me a one-hour reading, and I am still processing it. It was not one of those fluffy bunny rainbow glitter readings. It was an in-your-face, no-bullshit reading that turned on some lights and connected a lot of dots for me. I got clarity, action items, and healing — and one of the thousands of four-leaf clovers he has found. I will continue to watch the video he made of the session. I know it won’t be my last. I highly recommend him.
