DAY 774: Favorite Home Away From Home

I arrived at Kim’s at Wine O’Clock after more than six and a half hours on the road, in part because of all the times I pulled over to let vehicles pass me. As the hours went by, the mountains got lower and all the trees were still green. I drove by Arch Road that had the most beautiful stone arch over it’s entrance, a freestanding garage completely covered with license plates, the most horrid intersection ever, fields of solar panels, Halloween decorations, and farms selling produce on the honor system. I stopped to buy flowers in Massachusetts. Tomorrow it will be tomatoes down the street.

I ache all over from the move onto the bus, and the long drive. The body needs time to recover, and it will get it. May you get what you need as well.
