DAY 1013: Getting Ready For Friday

Today I spent the afternoon with a sister witch, meeting for lunch and then spending time looking out at the water at McCook Point Beach and continuing the conversation. We are meeting up again Friday.

So much happening on that day.

It’s astrological Beltane, when I celebrate the sabbat. I will have a fire of some sort, even if it’s just a candle, focus on my passions, and celebrate that which ignites my spirit. I plan to incorporate spring flowers as well. That fits nicely with the full flower moon that also occurs Friday. The full moon is in Scorpio,

Full moon is scorpio which is incredibly transformational. It will end a cycle that began six months ago with the new moon in Scorpio. So there is a theme of death and rebirth, of endings and beginnings, as a way to transcend the mundane. I will be going back through journals tomorrow to refresh my memory about what was going on back then, knowing the incredibly emotional cycle is destined to end a cycle that began in October 2022

The full moon rises on Venus’ day, so it may also allude to Venusian theme of love, money, and pleasure. It’s happening with sun in Taurus, which is, among other things, about prosperity.

There is also a lunar eclipse at 1:34pm ET, though it will not be visible in North America. Eclipses are an omen for powerful and unpredictable fated events. They are about closures, endings, unpredictable shifts, and transformation. They clear things out of our lives. There is often rapid change. Eclipses can be chaotic, but remember, chaos precedes creation. It’s the time to let things go, to go with the flow of where this intense energy takes you. I have to remember whatever is leaving my life is for the best, so I will do my best to allow it to go, despite the emotions Scorpio amplifies.

But there’s more! Friday is 5/5/23. In numerology, you add two and the three and get another five. Friday is also the fifth day of the week, so there’s a fourth five. Numbers have a language, and depending on what source you refer to, five is about money and wealth; or it’s about change, death and rebirth, endings and beginnings, starting a new chapter. It, too, is urging us to let go of the old. The amplification of five make it a portal allowing easier access to intuition, and assisting with releasing that which no longer serves our highest good and greatest joy.

All these themes fit together, making Friday a day to manifest desires that are in harmony with the universe. It’s an opportunity to connect with higher energies to manifest change, set intentions, and elevate consciousness. It’s a time to make long-lasting changes in our lives, if we choose.

With all the energy that is already swirling around, I will also be practicing self care, aiming for observation and detachment, but allowing this energy to unfold and bring me to my destiny. As of tonight, I don’t have a clue of what that is.
