January 17: Best Seats in the House

Yes! It’s purple! And comfortable. It makes me smile every time I see it. The two camp chairs I have on Karma won’t fold up to fit in Karmalita’s under body storage boxes, and I found this one that also makes me happy.

The four sheets of metal I need for a magnetic ceiling cost less than expected and will be delivered Monday. The diesel heater came today. The windows came out today and will be reinserted tomorrow when the sealant arrives. And I decided to use tarot cards and prints, and Mod Lodge and polyurethane, to cover the long counter on the passenger side. I am foregoing cabinets under it and, for now at least, stacking storage bins and hanging fabric. I will probably delay purchasing a Berkey water filter until I'm going into the wild for more than a couple of days at a time.

As I begin to set up an altar for Imbolc, I am seeing how much I won't be able to take on Karmalita. I hope to allot one large or three shoe box-size bins to hold magickal items from tarot decks and crystals to statues and candles. That's not counting my cauldron, brooms, staff, books, or herbs. Those who knew me before I became The Witch on Wheels will tell you I was not a magical minimalist. Less is not more. On FaceBook you can see a picture of cabinet that was my main altar with storage when I had 740 square feet of space at my condo, along with a picture showing seventy-five percent of a past Imbolc altar.

Yep! I'm going to need help from my skoolie sisters who find purging freeing.
