January 25: Floor, Food, and Fire

Karmalita has a floor and newly sealed windows. The correct diesel heater was delivered yesterday and the under bus storage boxes are coming tomorrow. I am being gifted a water faucet and usb-charged  motor to pump water up from containers under the counter. Paint and primer will be ordered tomorrow. Getting insurance is proving to be a problem because evidently, the mail service's "legal address" is no longer good enough. I also need to see if the bus can remain yellow. It used to be okay, but then again, getting insurance apparently wasn't a problem before I came along.

We've been celebrating Spirit Week at the homestead. It started with Margarita Monday and Cards Against Humanity. Then we came together for Taco Tuesday, and we had multiple sauces for Wednesday's Prince Elbow Macaroni Night. Tonight the full moon and beautiful weather called for a bonfire. Friday and Saturday are yet to be planned.

My biggest purge came yesterday when Rebecca Coates left here after a short visit with three boxes of words and images for vision boards, along with some paper, glue, and a large pad of card stock. I made a multitude of vision boards before moving onto the bus, and held workshops were others could do the same. I have since downsize to decorating journal pages and candles in glass pillars. Rebecca and I have been in covens together for more than a decade. Currently I am retaking a six-month journey with her through the Dark Half of the Year in the supportive virtual community Spiral Within.
