October 6: It's Meant To Be

About 3:30 I pulled into Karmas Field. Karma is a rock in a field at Bushtail's, a farm and nature center in Martinsburg WV with events open to the public and a barn full of harvested foods and crafted items – one of the many Harvest Host sites.

Last week, skoolie friends David and Camille and their extended family lost everything when the river flooded their land in Burnsville, North Carolina.

Karma had been sitting at The Homestead in Georgia, soon to be sold. With Brett and Renee collecting up donations to bring up as soon as travel is possible, I offered Karma, knowing I will not live in her again.

I hold deep the belief that what goes around comes around and if and when I have needs, they will be met. Brett told them about Karma today, not knowing I parked Karmalita in Karmas Field.

I take it as a sign (literally!!) that this is all meant to be.
